One crazy day!

On Sat. we drove to Baltimore and picked up my brother and then headed to the beach in Annapolis to hang out for a while. Wesley LOVED the beach. He spent a long time in the water floating around and having a great time. Then he went for a walk with Daddy and then came back and spent a long time playing in the sand. He was a very sleepy boy when we left. We then headed into Baltimore to eat dinner and walk around. After that we went the the aquarium and spent some time in there looking at all the sea creatures that they had. Wesley was very into the stingray display that they had and spent a lot of time looking and pointing and waving at them. He also was very vocal and would scream (with joy) when one would swim towards him. It was a very long and busy day but so much fun. Wesley was in a great mood the whole day dispite his lack of sleeping.

David or Kirstin?

Who do you think Wesley looks like??
David???

or Kirstin???

I think there is no arguing who he looks like. He is a Daddys boy all the way...

But I think I can argue for the following pictures that he does contain a lot of my personality!

Tooth #2!

So this week we have seen a couple of firsts.. starting Wed night he cut his second tooth. Yesterday he started clapping. Today Aunt Carolyn taught him "cheers" with his play cups. Last Friday he climbed a set of stairs all by himself! Lots and lots of new things!

Surprise visit to Maine

We had a few things to do in Maine so we decided to make a trip up and surprise my Mom and Dad. We put Wesley in a box and put him on the front porch, knocked on the door and hid behind some bushes. My mom was so surprised she started screaming and crying. Wesley was very excited to see everyone after the initial shock of being screamed about and was ready to show off for everyone. We then had a trip to Waterville to go shopping and had an adventure with the keys getting locked in the car... you can see pictures of the babies waiting in the other car for the doors to be opened. Then we had dinner at the Freedom Cafe one of my favorite places to eat. There is a picture of Wesley playing on a toy that I grew up playing on. Then we spent some time swimming in one of the lakes around here. Wesley really enjoyed it even if it was a bit cold. He also has been enjoying the company of his cousin AJ and we have taken LOTS of pictures of them together, and even some that I know we can torture then with when they are 15. AJ is 5 months younger but just about the same size as our peanut. We have had a great trip so far and are sad that it is going to be over soon.
