New Food

While I was pregnant with Wesley I craved watermelon all the time. I could not get enough of it! The other night at youth group I saw some and grabbed a piece to munch on. Wesley saw it and started grabbing for it and once I gave in and let him have a bite (suck) he could not get enough of it! He gummed on 2 pieces and kept it all down too. I would try and take it away to have a bite of it and he would give me the dirtiest look and reach for it and grab it and put it back in his mouth. He was a very happy baby for the night!

I thought I would add to what David posted and add a few more pictures

Ladies and Gentlemen a rainshine filled day in Washington, DC was spent watching the National Cherry Blossom Parade.
Giant cartoons charaters, Wesleys's favorite two girls, Dancing Fairfax County Police Bikes, Japanese stuff, and marching bands.
The first of many rides on the Metro Train for Wes started @ 9ish this morning, he was stoked. there were people to watch, car wizzing by and absolutly no harness to hold him in. The when we emerge from the crowded tunnel (visions of July 4th metro crowds dancing in parents heads) to behold more sighs and sounds. People , Rain, Ninjas and Anime characters run around the streets. We meet up with friends and enjoy what we feared may be the end of the parade.
2 Hours later we again wondered if this was the end of the parade. It was but I must admit it was the best parade I've ever seen.
The highlights are in photos on the page: Beauty Queens almost loosing her gloves to Wesleys power of suction. The Geico Gecko and Japanese drumlines. It was a fun day.

First Food

Wesley has had an intrest in food for a while and would get very mad when we were eating. At his last check up we got the OK to start him on rice cereal! He really enjoyed it and has been having some every day! Here are some pictures from his first taste.

Not so small anymore

SO Wesley has always been on the smaller side and has been in the 25 % for everything. We took him to his 4 month check-up the other day and hes not there anymore! He weighs 13 lbs 12 oz which puts him in the 65% and he is 24 3/4 inches long which put him in the 45% for height. He also had 4 shots what are about the worst thing ever! He did well but he did get a little fever and his legs were pretty sore.
